Apropos of nothing much at all. As I read this reply the Tonight show with Jimmy Fallon was beginning with with The Roots singing the theme song that goes much like your reply.

Carry on basking in the this evenings news that arrived like a bolt out of the RW&B!

He's going to take a lot of confidence from the game, average 3 goals a week until the end of the year and win the award

You only get to pick one!

So which will it be, Big Boydy or Microphone Head?
Please God the pressure of choice.

I really liked his strength in a contest on the wing when he got a short kick away resulting in Stringer's amazing snap from the boundary.

Great result.

When he's not kicking them he's presenting and setting up others with crumbing goals, which is all we can ask of a 19 year old key forward. Forward line is functioning a million miles better than last season, and the results are showing.

Well done Tom.

Rumour has it that fear of the true goal kicking marvel and
part time ruck Ayce Cordy drove Tom Boyd from his recent
slumber and onto rising star glory.

Ten goals in his last two games means Ayce has given up
on replacing Will Minson and is coming after you Tom Boyd.

Enjoy your moment in the sun, number 49 is the one !o_O

Has anyone noticed TheoX and his obsession with hating Tom Boyd. Every negative comment in every Tom Boyd thread is 'liked' by TheoX. The envy is strong.
Because he's a gigantic baby that doesn't want to entertain the prospect that there's another young key forward that's as good as Hogan.

Gary lyon gets a rough deal on here....Dont always agree with him but most of the time he is fair
He runs his own agenda against our club to deflect the ****ness of his own. Deflects everything towards us. I don't mind him and JB commentating though I love JB's commentary.

He doesn't hate us, it's just that there are a lot on here who revel in 'underdog' syndrome.

He does like to wind us up, after we lost to Melbourne he was quick to bag Jong saying wasn't he meant to be the best footballer of all time (who said that?!), Talia was meant to be an All Australian defender and basically put down some kids.
If you find him fair but don't agree with him a lot of the time does that mean you are unfair most of the time?

I actually didn’t think that Tom’s game on the weekend was much better than several other performances he has put in so far this year. I actually feel like there have been other games where he has presented and contested better but just hasn’t got the same reward for effort he did on Saturday.

The biggest difference was that Tom was awarded early free kicks in front of goal that before Saturday were not being paid to him. When a defender gives away 2 goals scragging a forward they will pretty quickly stop doing it, whereas if they get away with it (like Rance did in rd.2) they will continue for the whole match.

The reason for this is (imo) due to the fact that umpires generally award free kicks based on reputation, (team and player) rather than merit – but that is another matter altogether. I just hope that as Tom’s profile continues to grow the free kicks will be paid more and more.

Big difference between not agreeing a lot of the time and not always agreeing
