I am fully behind Tom Boyd in this matter. I have met him before in person and he is a lovely young man. I feel sorry for him and how he is being treated by the media. I fear for his mental health and that he might develop a condition. He is just learning as a professional AFL player and I think he is being treated to harshly. He has the potential to be the best player of all time and I feel that he will become the best player that has ever existed if the public get behind him and really help him as a AFL player and as a person.

Boyd to the Dogs may end up being the biggest trading disaster in AFL history. It's looking more and more a possibility as every week rolls on. Not a certainty, but a chance.

Maybe even worse than the Lovett trade.

Luckily the Dogs still have the Bont. He will take them to the promised land.

Shhhhhh

Worst case of public bullying I've seen since Jack Watts was drafted. Although Tom Scully wasnt treated that well either.

Hahahha look at all the little saint and demon fans jump all over this.

Again trolling out that the Boyd contract could end up being a disaster. REALLY?? You think it's a chance? Wow we did not know that we all assumed coz of the money he was a guarantee what will we do now?

Perhaps we could get Hogan back from Freo when he leaves there or McCartin who can't play after the slightest head knock?

But let's hang a young bloke who has a drink and makes an error coz that's NEVER happened before in the hostory of the world.

let's list some blokes that like a drink or did like a drink and see if you know there names.

Pretty much every footballer that players before 1985
Lockett
Carey
Ablett Snr
Fevola
Betts
Hodge
Pretty much every eagle player from 2004-2008
Pretty much half the blokes running around now.

But you all pick a kid and single him out.

Oh I forgot to mention Boyds contract may not work out for the 100000000 time

Hopefully it doesn't effect St Kildas chances of signing on the four talented youngsters they have.
Already signed the youth up, thanks for asking.

And plenty of salary cap room to get free agents.

Your concern is duly noted :thumbsu:.

Hahahahhaha

Coming from te team that had a major sook over the umpires and wanted Pannell lynched that's amusing.
Look at your own coach and his crying over umpires 2 weeks later.

With all due respect , it would appear meeting him in person has severly clouded your judgement . He is about as close as Vickery is to the greatest of all time, part of being a professional footballer is they get well paid and at it comes at the cost of scrutiny.
What he is paid is in the highest echeloen of AFL footballers, the scrutiny he has received to date has been no where near others on his rate of pay.

Nothing says emotional restraint like having a cry about the umpires after a loss and then sending the boss onto FiveAA to pot the history of the club who were on the better side of the free kick ledger. Let's not even get into the hypocrisy of Pyke dismissing Adelaide's favourable treatment the following week.

Nothing says proper culture like a playing group with no respect for women (or the women's game) and an administration that offered up a weak excuse without even apologising.

Just worry about your own backyard, bub.

Disregarding his argument and attacking his team is essentially raising a white flag and shouting, "I'm a big loser".

Give me a break. He had nothing of value to contribute beyond making some tenuous link between Boyd knuckling Cordy and his own club copping it for squealing like stuck pigs after a loss.

Nice 'valid and coherent argument' though, bro. Good to have intellectual giants holding us to account.

Poor darling. Someone calls you out on your weak defence and you shit yourself.
