See that's a stupid comment as well. Of course people wouldn't but there is no perspective in this thread, it's just a Tom Boyd vitriol thread. The ridiculous comments throughout here bear absolutely no relation to what happened. There are just some pathetic individuals who love to either (a) sink the boots in to anyone at any time or (b) for some reason like to consider themselves moral arbiters.

No, he's on a guaranteed salary. I'm his biggest fan, though, so I'm biased. He'll be a very good player.

I'm sure plenty of clubs keep things under wraps from the media and general public. The club decided that it wanted to keep it an internal matter and it's backfired a little bit especially when you've got Barrett peddling his agenda.

Barrett wasn't given the story by anyone. The club released it to everyone when they were ready. Barrett is furious that he didn't get the story first so he writes an article rolling just about everything that he hates about the dogs into one vitriolic essay. It's his little hissy-fit if you will and I can tell you that I love it when he writes about the Dogs because they frustrate him so much.

2. Do not under any circumstances drink alcoholic beverages because you know some shit might pop off and we'd prefer that not to happen, no one can enjoy themselves in this state and should stay at home and watch what your told to because we aren't called the nanny state for nothing.

Do you honestly think if anyone AFL player glassed someone, let alone a team mate, it would take three weeks to come out? Seriously.

I just shake my head sometimes at peoples ability to believe everything that your average Joe says on SEN.

Barrett is blacklisted from the dogs, and can't find out any information. Barrett is just dirty because he wasn't the one to break the news.

If the club knew of the incident and were planning to release their statement why did Beveridge indicate early this week that Boyd was a chance to return this week? Wouldn't he have replied with something along the lines of "Boyd is unavailable for selection this week" and leave it at that until they decided to announce it. No, they tried to conceal the incident which was a mistake.

I agree the story somehow stayed under wraps and probably still would if Barrett hadn't got word of it. I dislike this bloke as much as anyone but to blame him for going hard at your club and how it tried to cover this up is (which is what he does) is being a bit rich. I bet you had no problems with his attack on Martin after thr Chinese restaraunt fiasco which turned out to be nothing.

Lol Barrett is there to sell stories to make money, his doing his job so I have no issue there. Do I think his a flog? Yes, but his doing his job so who am I to judge his work ethics

Pouring a beer over someone's head while they're kneeling down would probably make most sober people angry. And plenty of them would probably respond the same
