Jack Viney took out Shannon Hurn last week, who can't even play this week, and nobody batted an eyelid.

Melbourne are a team of snipers, and it's clear they're using this as a tactic: take out one of the opposition players early and give themselves a better chance of winning the game.

This is exactly why the game needs red cards. Stop listening to the morons crying about how that makes the game 'soft'.

Didn't see many Brisbane fans complaining when they previously did the same thing

Going to be interesting to see Melbourne supporters try and defend this when they were convinced that Schofield had absolutely touched Oliver in the previous week. Minimum 5+ weeks for a sniping thug and a huge fine to go along with it.

If AFL are serious about stamping this out, they'll take this as a good example and hopefully introduce the concept of red cards. Will make players think twice about carrying out such a pathetic and horrible act.

Jack Viney took out Shannon Hurn with minutes to go as he went for the ball.
Lewis hit Cripps late in the 3rd, and as much it means nothing when it come to suspensions, they were scuffling together - it wasn't an 'intentional' take out. Same with Hogan and Rowe.

Funny that they use this as a tactic but it's only happened once.

Bugg is scum for what he did but let's just put it all back in our pants. Hardly 'clear' and hardly evidence to go attacking the likes of Goodwin.

Christ almighty. What a dog act. Bugg is an absolute thug. Perfect example for the AFL to show its strong stance on incidents like this. If this was real life, he'd probably be spending time in prison for that.

The Viney Family is not known for their good "sportsmanship"

Bugg must get Houli plus, meaning 4+.
