It was an interesting decision. The way I look at it is he could stay sound and be a good player. If that happens he could be a real plus. Can Chad Morrison, Shane O'Bree, Leon Davis, Brett Hall, David Fanning and a perhaps a couple of others actually be quality players for us? I seriously doubt it. You can disagree on the names but for me the real question is whether we have a player on the list that is less chance due to ability than Davidson is due to injury? If so, we made the wrong decision. Of course I don’t have his medical in front of me. I bloody well hope the list clowns we employ did.

i dont know whether we will pick him up again or whether it would be a good idea. all i know is that we have delisted talent (davidson, shaw)! probably alot more then most other clubs.

I know for sure Davo has had two knee reco's + tendinitis injuries. We are all hoping he is finally getting back into training this summer and that one day will play for the pies!

I think thats right Murray. Thats an overuse injury! Probably tried to do too much after being out for so long due to the Knees. Hope he builds up slowly this time so he can get a fair shot this time round.

He is (pretty sure), in order to properly get over his knee issues. Pity that he may never reach his best. That said, I would still rookie him. After all, MM did state prior to his first game how he could end up a 150 game or more player.
