So you would have had Max Hudgton in there instead of Tommy?

I'd be a fool to answer this question with anything but yes on this forum, no?

:p

It depends.... In that AA team(outstanding) I'd take Harley, remove any of the key defenders and I'd take Hudgton in a heart beat. Harley's role is useless unless there are key defenders who can stop the dangerous opposition forwards. Hence, I think Harley is blessed to be in a great team... things would be different if he played in a predominantly losing side.

I guess it depends on if you're looking at it from the glass half full or glass half empty. I'm looking at it from the former.

This is the problem by the looks... with some Geelong supporters I guess. And probably the vision of people who think Harley is one lucky bloke. Its a team game and the Geelong team works superb as a unit... if your giving these awards out based on players sole performances, his selection is flawed to an extent. You have to be one eyed to not relate to that train of thought.

Like I said.. AA selection is BS, its always going to be open for arguing over and over. Its a matter of opinion only. Everyones opinion differs, as a follower of football in general I'm glad I can sit back and question my own teams accolades sometimes. Nothing wrong with that at all. Harley has had a great year, would he be in my AA team? No. Does Mike Sheahan, Glenn Jackovich and who ever else made the calls opinion definitive? No.

Like I said, don't be scared to look at the other side of the coin. Your not betraying your team. ;) It's just a perspective.

Well, I think Harley is awesome. He isnt the best defender ever, and he isnt amazing one on one, but what he does for the team is great and catupaults him far in my eye. I cant think of many other defensers in the competition who should have gotten in ahead of him; maybe Mackie, but they do play on different type forwards.

Anyway, if that makes me one-eyed, so be it :P
