On his 2nd chance and plays like shit for 2 years and still keeps his spot on the list, albeit rookie list.

Waste of time. Bring in a new kid. Hislop is too slow, dumb in terms of footy smarts and lacks foot skills. That won't change. Bad move.

If Dimma thinks he is worth another go then let him have another go. Personally I reckon he is great at getting the ball and like king last year had brain fades, now that Collo is gone he might have a place in the forward line as a pinch hitter, get him kicking at goal in every spare moment of course. He is also hard at it so could also be used in the midfield but he needs to clear his head, focus and look further afield.

He can't kick and never will be able to but that is not his only problem. He can't handball either and he is not a one touch player that takes the first or right option.

Watch some old games and you'll see him **** up passages of play where the backline or mid fielders have worked so hard only to turn it over or put another player under obscene pressure so they do.

Yes he can take a mark in the forward line but if they give him another year it will be just as ugly as what they did last year giving Troy Simmonds a contract.

It's probably worth pointing out that he wasn't delisted by Essendon, he walked on them.

Doesn't change the fact that I don't want him at the club anymore, though.

I wouldn't say nothing. Playing in the forward line, he has the uncanny knack of being in the right spot at the right time. its just that his kick on both feet is shocking. At least King has one ok foot. Kingy is learning to play his role in the team, and play within his own limitations, which is why he has finished off the year the way he has. Hislop may do the same, but obviously would need to show some deligence on the rookie list before progressing back to the main list. I don't see it happening, but am happy to be proven wrong. The rookie list is exactly that, outside chances. If the selection team feel that Hislop shows more potential than another potential younger rookie, then i am ok with that. Tho I would prefer going along the youth line.

Like I said, I must've missed something.
Anyone can find space but it's futile if he misses his target - which happens far too often for this footballer at the "elite" level.
He's a weak link in the chain - he is a liability. There's no place to hide these days.

I went to several Coburg games and he seldom even showed much down there.
He needs more than the Hardwick touch to morph him in to a decent footballer.....he needs something extraterrestrial.
