We need someone to play the Cox role. I worry about our forward structure if he goes done. We need to get this kid on a list and develope him.
You're probably right, but I'd wait until one of these 3 is genuinely good until I make that call. Aliir's game against the Hawks was up there with Cox's round 1 game against the Hawks, as the worst individual performance of the year. This is the future.
Majak Daw, Allir Allir, Tom Jok....pretty soon these types of athletes are going to be commonplace upon AFL lists. Tom did great job today and I'd love to see us rookie him in 2019.

While the talent is coming through I reckon the next generation will be even better. Having these role models means the next generation will grow up playing Aussie Rules and therefore won't be so raw. A bit like how Australian basketball is having a second wave thanks in part to the kids of the 90's imports coming through in recent years.I think Majak might finish top 10 in Norths B+F this season, he's had a great year. Allir's playing CHB in a Finals side next weekend...not too shabby and Tommy Jok was one player who gave everything today for the Pie seconds. The Sudanese lads switching from basketball to footy will be 200cm running machines. I know (cos I work with them) that Geelong FC has invested strongly in this recruitment stream. We better get on board quickly or else we'll be left chasing these whippets in years to come!
I reckon it'll happen too, but think you've gone a bit early. I also used to work with Sudanese kids, coached a basketball team. We'd rock up and the other team would be intimidated seeing the size and athleticism of our boys in the warm up, but we'd inevitably get wiped off the court. Despite the incredible athleticism, too many of the current crop had their formative years in refugee camps without access to sporting equipment, let alone organised sport. Coordination levels were low and we were generally a disorganised shambles - possibly due to the limitations of the coach.I think Majak might finish top 10 in Norths B+F this season, he's had a great year. Tall skinny agile and quick.....in 3 years this bloke Will be ripping new ones everywhereI haven't seen him. How would you describe his playing style?
A likely type but we have no claims on him sadly.
There is a bit of nicnat about him, as well as alir alir when he plays in defence, can jump incredibly high from a standing start and is very quick, he is clean below his knees and although I've seen kick a few clangers I've also seen him hit players lace out, is a CHB in the making although being played through the ruck and forward, he has improved with every game and is becoming well known amongst the recruitersI haven't seen him. How would you describe his playing style?
