That said as a Freo supporter I’d only give up a pick around 35 for him, which wouldn’t likely get it done.
Should get a contract that he and Pies can agree on. Doubt he goes anywhere.

Would be happy if WC offerred pick 15-20 for him if we needed an intercept type.

I agree, being uncontracted often kills clubs in this day and age. I'd imagine we'd offer 22 from Brisbane (if this is all true)

This draft has 7-8 clear top talent the rest is open. So giving up 20 isn’t really that bad.

600k a year for Langdon is the first ridiculous part of rumour. Two years is the second ridiculous part.

He'd move for a 3 year deal, that's about standard. Maybe it was $1.2 million over 3, that would make more sense BUT still can't see him coming to Freo.

You don't pay someone $600k a year over 2 unless they're 30.

None of it adds up.

Langdon would be a handy get for Freo all right. A pick in 20-25 range about right.

If you add him to Ryan, Hamling, Wilson and Pearce and you have the makings of a top notch defence there.

And according to Ross that seems to be the only thing that matters

The Langdon to freo rumour is absolute BS - started by one of these unofficial pages that just make stuff up and watch it grow legs. If the langdon boys are playing together next year, it will be at the pies - as reported in the media over the weekend, the pies are very interested in Ed despite him having 1 yr left on his contract
