They're in there longer than I thought they'd be.
I'm sure this is a boring technical argument about the severe band.
Four weeks or five weeks.
They've pinned the matrix to the wall, blindfolded each other, and are throwing darts at it as we speak.

I'm personally happy with 4 to 5 weeks because I hate seeing thuggery no matter who's wearing what jumper, but the matrix makes decision-making difficult.

Hopefully they pull their thumbs out and overhaul it for next season.

Severe lol. No concussion. No cuts. No trauma. And the player played on.
Potential to be severe I suspect is going to be the justification.

Congratulations, because of ya boy Tom they made a new interpretation. I hope you're proud

Congratulations, because of ya boy Tom they made a new interpretation.

Luckily this isnt a new interpretation, the appeals board has already upheld that low impact can be upgraded to severe on potential before, so no grounds for appeal there.

"The game is in great shape".
Does anyone either side of this argument think the AFL - as a league or as the body for the game - is running the game well right now? Outside of Dillon and Kane's echo chamber, **** no.

That doesn't mean Tom Lynch doesn't deserve a very long holiday.

All you people saying 4 to 8 weeks are dreaming, he hardly made contact.
He should get one week for attempting to strike, the Adelaide playa was totally fine.
Maybe save the 4 to 8 week suspensions for players that concuss other players.
So wrong. So breathtakingly wrong.
