Déjà Vu at its most obvious here. Matching up with how the Prestia trade went down and funnily enough, matching up with the chatter on this board last year as well in regards to Prestia not actually being that good/we don’t need him/can’t pay him too much.
The parallels are crazy lol.
If he isn’t a Richmond player in 2019 I’ll be shocked.
Don’t see Gold Coast matching either. They would only be doing it to their own detriment.
At this rate they will be getting two picks in the top 3... At the very worst, two in the top 5.
People are looking at this years performances too closely. Rewind one year and Tom Lynch was a pipe dream and 98% of posters wanted him but laughed it off like it was never going to happen.
We have a ready made Jack Riewoldt replacement about to walk through the door who will not only learn off Jack, but also the best backman in the league, Rance.
Recruiting Lynch cements us as a contender for the next 3-5 years.
Cap space won’t be a worry, with the cap increasing next year by a mill or so, plus the delistings, retirements. We won’t need to cut any key or developing players.
The recruitment of Lynch gives us the best chance of winning another two or three flags and making this period of Richmond history incredible.
