my biggest concern going after a tall forward is this:
our entire game plan is based around every player on the field buying into that defensive pressure when we don't have the ball.
as we have seen on occasions, if 1 person isn't pulling their weight, the whole thing almost falls apart and the opposition will find easy ways through.
will we get the same kind of buy in / application from a KPF?
my only thought is that maybe this is part of a new game plan going forward in 2019 that we are developing and working on. Casue I'm not totally sold it would work in our current game style unless they chase and pressure as much as one of the blokes they would be replacing.

1)He already does that at the GC and has terrific mobility.
2)You have to remember what it's like when you're playing in a crap team with a crap system. I've been in teams where you know that if you bust your ass chasing and tackling the opposition just flick the ball around to the spot where you aren't so you waste energy. In a shit team it is better to conserve energy in the moments when you have the ball. I have no doubt he would be impacted by the players around him.
If Jack Riewoldt was playing in a shit forward line with a crap system around him how many tackles do you reckon he's get? It's the same thing. #it'shappening.gif
