Finished but would still be our 2nd best mid imo that is

im just s**t stirring, i do like mitchell still he isnt s**t like some here say

but he also didnt want to be here

Yep, he is a controversial figure but both player and former coach have shown increased maturity. The latter now shows he is less likely to play faves and reward performance.

In his last game he was one of our best v the AFL. Since leaving he has won a Charlie, busted a leg and buggered a shoulder. Whenever he plays he gets heaps inc hard ball.

Is there a place back at the Swans for him?

lol... he slaughtered our mids ... maybe he is worth a late 2nd rounder after all.

Hutchy and Matthew Lloyd on Footy Classified last night suggesting Mitchell should return to Sydney, being a good fit for the next few years.

Dusty and Mitchell together at Sydney?

Bringing the money hungry grub back would kill the club culture quicker than it takes Horse to throw Reid/Heeney back when the opposition gets a run on. It's a no from me.

All he wanted was what he was worth and we wouldn't give him anywhere near that. If someone offered you twice as much money to go to another company you would do it in a heartbeat. It was Longmire and the Swans that did not rate Mitchell for some reason.

He was paid 500k when signed on for his 2nd a 3rd year when he wasn't worth that and wasn't getting senior games, yet couldn't take a little less mid career to repay the faith. Couple of years ago he was hitting up Essendon looking for more. * him.

Sheldrick is on the mend and will be a better option than Mitchell when fit next year.
