Would have to agree there. Hopefully he puts in some good touchesI think the Mitchell selection was the response to Freo dominating the clearances and also mcglynns average form so I wouldn't have thought that'd be an option
The day is fining up and there has been shades of sunshine.
Does anyone think that a drier deck could prompt Longmire to withdraw Mitchell and bring in Mglynn to provide more speed and tackling pressure?
It's highly unusual for Longmire to play 4 extractors. He may revert to his usual 3 extractors (Bird, Kennedy and Parker) if the ground dries out before 2.10pm. The SCG does have the super sopper.

Mitchell was one of our best but we lost, so he'll be back in the NEAFL next week.
30 touches, which is great, except most were really shitty touches. I don't know what goes through his head when he puts boot to ball, but somehow he invariably kicks up-and-unders. I'm not suggesting send him back to the ressies, he's still a net positive, but he needs to learn how to actually kick the footy properly, or otherwise stick to handballing.
Lead the entire ground for contested possessions. Do you think that's something notable in a wet weather game?30 touches, which is great, except most were really shitty touches. Of all players to bag I wouldnt be bagging Tom today

Of course. I'm not saying he's bad at all. I'm just saying his disposal is atrocious and it's terribly frustrating.
I agree with BB, kicking high balls to our forwards is not to our advantage. His handballs though are amazing. Maybe stick to handballs for the forseeable future
I have no idea what you have been smoking. Mitchell was really good with the ball today. He is great getting the ball out of packs.
