Yep it's all still a conspiracy against Richmond. The Hocking World Order knows no bounds.Classic good guy Stewart gets off. He's got a history of being a dog on the field but once again a dangerous incident is swept under the carpet.
Imagine if Tom Lynch did what Stewart did, or what Zurhaar did, or what Curtis did (this last one isn't a hypothetical and got Lynch 5 weeks whereas Curtis gets 1)... Media would be in uproar, knives would come out, and as usual the book would be thrown at him. But nothing to see here for good guy Stewart.

Yes, the whole two times he’s been under the microscope and he was let off once for getting an opponent in the ribs, and suspended the other time for the high contact.
Thoughts and prayers for you mate.

4 weeks which was very much unders. Gutless snipe off the ball and all the media and your coach did was say how much of a good bloke he is etc.He copped a lengthy suspension for the hit on Prestia, rightly so. The only travesty of justice from that game involving Stewart was that he was frozen out of the Brownlow votes. Played an absolute blinder.
No it's just rank inconsistency by the MRO and tribunal. Guys get suspended from trial by media and then the exact same incident from a different player the next week goes unpunished.Yep it's all still a conspiracy against Richmond. The Hocking World Order knows no bounds.
If Tom Stewart did what Tom Lynch did I'd expect a 5 week ban for Stewart too. An absolute dog act like we had not seen in a long time. But unlike you with Geelong footballers, I don't bay for blood whenever a Richmond footballer is in "hot water", nor do I rejoice when a Richmond footballer is injured.Classic good guy Stewart gets off. Ah yes, the absolute dog act of Tom Lynch that left a player completely uninjured. Oh the humanity. If Tom Stewart did what Tom Lynch did I'd expect a 5 week ban for Stewart too. "off the ball" lol Richmond supporters are the softest in the league bar none4 weeks which was very much unders. Gutless snipe off the ball and all the media and your coach did was say how much of a good bloke he is etc.
He's a good player, but he's a dirty ****ing player and has been for a long time.
Both acts left the "victim" uninjured, but one was a dog act that was off the ball and not a football act, the other was in play and a smother that went awry. Do you see any difference?Ah yes, the absolute dog act of Tom Lynch that left a player completely uninjured. Oh the humanity.
What are these offences Stewart has committed and got away with. We keep hearing about them from posters like you. This will be good.I just want to see MRO consistency. So when a repeat offender in Stewart somehow escapes sanction yet again, it does throw up some questions.
Remember when that Geelong supporter felt "threatened" in the 2017 QF cause Richmond supporters were cheering too loudly."off the ball" lol Richmond supporters are the softest in the league bar none
Maim??? C'mon mate. Both acts left the "victim" uninjured, but one was a dog act that was off the ball and not a football act, the other was in play and a smother that went awry. Do you see any difference?
As Nick Riewoldt said, Stewart's only intent was to play the ball. Lynch's only intent was to maim.

Definitely got him in the head. It was low impact so only a fine. Why would anyone be suspended for knocking the shoulder?? Suspension is head contact and or concussion. It would be an AFL first if a player got suspended for knocking the shoulder without a concussion
yeah can't believe Richmond supporters would harass and threaten an old Nanna because she supports the oppo, softest fans in the league could be the only ones to do thatRemember when that Geelong supporter felt "threatened" in the 2017 QF cause Richmond supporters were cheering too loudly.

No he didn’t get him in the head. Wines moved to the side and Stewart tried to turn the body to avoid impact and he fell onto his right shoulder region.Definitely got him in the head. It was low impact so only a fine.

Geelong star learns fate after bump that floored rival
As Roos forward's punch results in banwww.nine.com.au
And fwiw, the top of the shoulder counts as "high".
Should be easy for Geelong lawyers to get the fine thrown out then. If he didn't get him in the head why was he cited at all?No he didn’t get him in the head. Wines moved to the side and Stewart tried to turn the body to avoid impact and he fell onto his right shoulder region.
Yes. The real reason why it was only a fine.Wines was fine and played on.

Wines was fine and played on.
Very little cause for suspension and would be an AFL first
Dangling an elbow sounds serious. Hope Krueger was okay.Maim??? C'mon mate.
Here's a few recent ones from a quick google search. A deeper dive would uncover plenty more. Weird how he keeps finding himself in compromising positions that result in oppo players either injured or barely escaping injury due to luck.
- Smother bump on Wines that the AFL changed the rule to penalize players after Maynard escaped suspension.
- Rd 13 2025. No eyes on the ball and cleaned up Anderson with a bump. Anderson taken to hospital for scans.
- Rd 15 2024. https://www.news.com.au/sport/afl/n...r/news-story/47e3788642b226a7e6e2e9a09c5eb702
- Rd 18 2024. Dangles an elbow on Krueger as he's running to the ball.
- Obviously the Prestia one.
- 2022 grand final went multiple times with elbows into Swans players. This is a bit of an MO for him.
Wow, what a charmer.Suck shit
