Cripps got let off for a similar bump weeks later, in hindsight the 4 week suspension was way overboard for a regulation bump. I probably speak for everyone when I say it was karma that it didn't affect his season, if anything it gave him a nice little freshen up heading into finals for an eventual AA selection and premiership, so all's well that ends well.
