Each time Ive seen Swift he seems unco and nervous.

I guess time will see him through.

Hope he turns into a good player.

he is. he is in his first year after two years out. To be playing is excellent. to be improving at the rate he is is great. His physical attributes give him brilliant potential. I recall Judd in season one being unreliable and rushed at times.

I recall Judd in season one being unreliable and rushed at times.

Judd finished 3rd in our B&F in his first season, only just got beaten for the rising star by a 2nd year player, and probably unlucky to miss out on AA selection.

Lets not go comparing Swift with Judd just yet.

Will always appear different because of Swifts inside "work". Different players are noticed for what they do best.
What? I was noticing plenty of inside work from Hill, almost nothing from Swift.

5:15 onwards. Resulted in a shot at goal.

Wouldn't count as a contested possession, but forced the contest, allowed his team to win the ball, then finished it well. That initial piece of play happened a few times on the weekend.

I think the problem was you didn't watch the game with both eyes open! You probably just ignored Hill as he was a Freo player. I find now I am concentrating more on the WC players watching their development, rather than watching both sides as I used to always. ;)

Um Gravy.... How on earth was that inside work? He was completely outside sitting of the back of the pack waiting for the handball out.

Check your glasses. Im not saying it wasn't good but that is not inside work.

Despite Swift being in and out of the team his 5 games have yielded just as much as Hill did in his first 5 games. Swift is finiding his feet, after two years out basically, and I find his last game was really exciting to watch.

Delist.

Ahhh so you didn't notice him taking on Rosa and being rolled on, creating the contest, and winning the ball for his team mate?

That IS inside work. Almost stereotypical inside work.

The knee surgery set him back there's no doubt about it. He will struggle in the ruck contests against any person who has 20kg on him... At least he comprehensively beat Clarke when matched against him.

Nick Nat is already 98kg's and 203cm.

Not sure how many 128kg ruckmen are out there sTeely?:D

It's more about core strenth and conditioning rather than not being big or heavy enough! With a couple of preseasons he will be running opponents off their feet and squashing them like bugs.;):thumbsu:

That's 30kgs heavier Obeanie1y. :p

Well Sandilands is 125kg... So he has 27kg on Naitanui then.... And yes he does need conditioning.

Go back to your own board Chops. Noone is interested in your pointless argument that Hill is inside mid. Its surprising how wrong you are about your own teams' player

What, you mean you couldn't see him force the contest? Or do you just suck at discussion and you're copping out?

FWIW, Hill averages more contested possessions and clearances this season than Masten, despite Masten having more overall possessions and about 10 kilos on Hill. Who's the outside receiver and the inside mid there?

Not worth my time. Your obviously still thick enough to actually support Fremantle after 15 years of 'success', I'm not willing to invest the effort to change your mind.

Dean Cox >>>>> Josh Head + Kepl0r Bradley + Scott Thornton

End thread.

lol :D......... you could pick any player to be >>>>>>> than those three dunces lol... good work :thumbsu:

natanui just needs to learn the game, he will be a good player. dont bag me but from what i saw of swift on the weekend, he reminded me of peake, and for your sake i hope he is nothing like peake..... the young player i liked of yours was houlihan... looks a goer..... was he a rookie listed player? where was he from?

Hill is both inside and out.

I also don't have a penis in my arse.

Don't make me bring out a photo of Thornton outmarking Natanui one on one.
