Saturday 13th April.
Northern Blues vs. Bendigo Gold

Not a particularly good game for Tom against a pretty ordinary opponent.
Did some nice things coming out of the back-line but also turned the ball over a few times when he had plenty of time to do better.

Temay does look like he belongs on the ground and has very good poise and run. Can only get better.

This comment about a first year player made me laugh. ;):)

Doesn't read right does it?

Temay just comes across as someone who looks good with ball in hand, if you know what I mean.
He has a professional air about him and has hit good targets over the past couple weeks but at times also put the ball straight into the hands of the opposition.

He comes across very calm and measured and as much as it shouldn't be surprising for a kid to have these turn-overs it somehow looks wrong when it comes from his boot.

Another supporter who watched the game compared Temay to Steven Browne. Hope he has more tricks, improvement and talent than Suitcases.

Too early for me to make any call but I can see the reason for the comparison.

Whereas Browney looked a little bit of a scrubber (although I liked the guy) , Temay has a more polished look about him. Time will tell.

A work in progress. Might not see him in the seniors at all this season. Has yet to pick up the pace of the VFL, so is a fair way off at this stage.
But then again, he might be one of those guys who if you drop them in the deep end can swim quite well.

But yeah, I am not expecting to see him this year tbh!
