Yeah I started up the tears again at that point. It was such an amazing moment, you could hear the love from the crowd and see the appreciation on his face for it.
We all kept it together... until Bevo gave Murph his medal.
My mum and sister lost it.

How's Murph travelling? on track for a strong year I hope.
Not a Dogs fan but a huge Murph fan...seems like a top bloke!
was sad to see him miss out last year.
He started training with the main group last week according to all reports - so pretty well by the sound of things.

You blokes aren't looking at picking him up are you?

He actually did some skills training with the main group during Grand Final week - being a round 3 injury he's had plenty of time to do the rehab.

not comparing...but I think they learned from the Farren Ray joke of last year.

Rajasthan Royals!!!
It seems to be working for them.
Since joining West Coast, Mitchell has won a Brownlow!!

KM
Lol if he joined St Kilda, he would have been suspended for snorting cocaine off a dead dwarf hooker, ten minutes after being traded.

Grain of salt, but if true, it appears that offering a young player a milly a year isn't so unusual after all.

Way more overs than TBoyd if true. Heney's a jet but plenty of opportunities to pick up a player like him in the first round. But you're no chance of drafting TBoyd without pick one.

Without doubt both are overs, but you need to overpay to get young potential stars to your club early from where they were drafted.

I just find it amusing that many other teams' fans including norf were giving us shit for offering a million a year to a young potential stud player when every single club will probably eventually be doing it when the cap goes up.

We and GWS were just a couple of years ahead of the curve.

Can't wait to see the bidding war this year for Nat Fyfe.

My only regret at the GF was probably having a few too many grogs. I am a nervous supporter/drinker. 5 schooners before the game in Richmond with my family, then the standard Brisdog antidote - 2 schooners per quarter. This usually works fine, but that is the first game in a while I have been too where they serve heavy beer. This has resulted in the last quarter being a little foggy. Thank the lord for the replays on YouTube.

Despite being inebriated Mofra, I reckon the crowds roar for Picken's second was pretty bloody loud just before Boydy's goal. That's the loudest noise at a game of footy I have ever heard.

I have been to pretty well all our finals in Melbourne since 85 and I could not get over the amount of supporters we had this year dressed in the red, white & blue. Our club definitely has huge untapped potential with our current squad and staff to jump well ahead of the Saints, North, Melbourne in Membership and Sponsorship. For the first time ever the Doggies are cool as f**k!

Surprisingly yes - attending many (multi day) music festivals over the years, the last few years has seen a huge number of people wearing red, white and blue. Meredith last year we seemed to be the most supported team (complete with one of the toilets being decorated as a Bulldogs shrine).

The build up to Picken's second was just insane, Biggs repeat efforts, tackle after tackle, no stoppage and then BANG! For a moment I thought the whole place was full of Dogs supporters.

My kids used to be one of only a couple of doggies supporting families at school - now suddenly half the bloody school reckons they are doggies supporters!
