surely you play the kids if you're not taking it seriously. i would've thought that if he is going to play round 1 he would've played. my guess is that he is either injured or not up to the mark yet.

mind you i understand how young he is and i do think he will end up being a good player for you guys.

Well, Malthouse obviously rates him, assuming he still has designs on him playing round 1. So either he wasn't taking the game too seriously, or Reid isn't playing round 1. Just my take on things.

Good result. A win would've been good, but no injury concerns is the real winner here, especially after the sad incident with Nathan Thompson.

Round One here we come. The real stuff to begin, a pretty good pre-season to get some miles in the legs, but not enough to cause too many concerns when looking long-term for 07.
