Toast Tony Armstrong's 8 quarter day.

I know he didn't have a choice in the matter but for Tony Armstrong to get through 8 quarters was a magnificent effort, considering he was in our best 3 in the VFL and nowhere near our worst in the seniors.

A simply THANK YOU TONY.:)

Did very well. 17 possessions in the AFL as well. Well done.

On the other hand... What sort of list management was going on with the team? Terrible.

I hope Tony doesn't get dropped. I want to see him play in Sydney.

THANK YOU TONY!!!

Selection should depend entirely on performance but I wouldn't hesitate to make an exception and ensure this guy gets another game in seniors, and that's not to say he didn't deserve it by his performance anyway.

EDIT: that is of course, unless hes buggered LOL

He wont be able to walk for a few days, good effort. To think he got dropped for Sinclair who did absolutely nothing.

14 km's ran in the VFL to back it up by playing a faster, more skilled level is no mean feat.

Well done Tony.

I reckon his training load will be pretty light this week.

I'm actually annoyed that he played vfl today.

We knew Elliott was out and that we were going to bring young in. Why did we play the other two emergencies?

A poor decision by the club.

Re: Armstrong. Showed magnificent heart today. Well done!

Thought he looked stuffed in the first quarter. Fantastic effort to run out the game and contribute the way he did. TA, you were mighty.

You could easily start a roast thread about Armstrong too, but it would be directed at the moronic decisions of the club over the past few days.

Timeline;

Elliott breaks down on Thursday, yet we name him in the 22 anyway, HUH?

We tell Young on Friday he is playing, yet still don't remove Elliott from the 22 to replace him with a fit emergency in the 25.

Young predictably doesn't play VFL today, but then we have no cover for a late problem because we played the other 2 emergencies full games in the VFL.

Pendles breaks down in the warmup, TA is called out of the stand after eating a bowl of spag bol after the game at Geelong, and is made the sub.

Reid breaks down 3 minutes in, TA comes on to play another full game.

ASTOUNDING * UP FROM THE CLUB ON ALL LEVELS.

Great effort by him and he still played better than half the team.

If he has another two decent games, give the guy another year.
