He probably thought the Eagles haven't played at the MCG since the 2015 grand final.

It's interesting how one bad GF performance has left a lasting impression on some in the media. Jay Clark made it known a few weeks ago that he didn't want West Coast in the GF for fear of an anti climax a la 2015. I don't remember similar statements when Sydney was smashed by 63 points in the 2014 GF.

Tony Jones - firstly I think he is great for the Sunday footy show - so I will start with that.

I think he was just having a bit of fun and got carried away there was no malicious intent at all IMO

But seems very insensitive bully who can’t take anything coming back - and struggles a lot at jokes at his expense
