No idiot it was against the Demons he booted six down at the cattery in 1998.

People know where Keith is, us AFC supporters actually go interstate to support our club unlike your dullard club, Keith FC have the same mascot as the AFC.

Is there much purpose in quoting a post I did back on the 27th March 2007?

Oh well, enjoy yourself

So basically you're just bragging that you are in the know

Good on you :thumbsu:

PS: Blighty was in charge, not Ayres. And Smart didn't have a career ending knee injury in 1999.

as i wrote before im not 100% sure exactly which player it was but i do know it was a player who suffered a season ending knee injury

I've been trying to search what we actually traded Modra for, and while I've read references to burnt pepper stake, I still haven't found an actual draft pick number or player that we swapped him for -

The Wikipedia page of the 1998 trade period just says Modra to Fremantle from Adelaide, and while we also traded Chad Rintoul in the same time, we didn't bring any players in...

Does anyone know what we actually traded him for? Surely with Fremantle's trade history, we could have got the #2 pick or something

Tony Modra traded to Freo for pick 29 (Tyson Stenglein)

The greatest travesty he never played a GF.
If I was coach he would've played no matter what form he was in, in 98. Couldn't have been worse then some of those blokes (Marsh). Thats what you get for sticking your dick where you shouldn't I guess.

He did more for this club then anyone in the early days.

JET!!!

Wasn't from sticking anything anywhere why he was dropped.. Or prolonged poor form.. Wasn't it that Blight moved him to half back during that Melbourne final as he had barely touched it, apparently Mods wasn't too impressed.. Blighty with his team ethos said you don't win flags unless everyone is team orientated and going in the one united direction etc etc..

Blight had ego issues with mods.Blight had ego issues with anyone as good as him.

Look at that. We actually got a good return for an out of contract player who nominated a club.

The Modra legacy dies with Thommo when he retires.

I remember when mods had words with a singapore airlines hostess on the flight from london where we played a exhibition game. The afl deregistered him for the pre season..

I am yet to see the consistencies into his punishment .It actually really put pressure on him, a footballer experiencing media hype that only prince Charles could ever relate to..He had been destroying Victorian fullbacks and almost made cheating umpires irrelevant before his punishment.

He would of been better than than Barry Robran.

Like sanderson last year with the way he galvanized our playing group in the pre lim...

Theres a pattern here people..
