reason?

I would call it dribble

Dribble???

The Crows won two GF's without Modra FACT

Modra marked the ball and kicked goals FACT

Modra is well known for not having the abilty to win the ball at ground level FACT

Modra has in the past been in trouble for physical abuse against women FACT

Not much dribble there:confused:

**** me you are just a troll and a sad, sad person to boot.

Without doubt our best pure full forward and most exciting player in a Crow guernsey, but he was a shooting star that had waned by 97. I doubt we would have won the 2 flags with him instead of Jarman.

It was a shame to trade him but probably the right decision for both parties, although we didn't get that much for him. I think we used the 2nd or 3rd roun draft pick to get Stenglein from memory, so indirectly Scott Thompson is there because of Modra.
A great way of putting it, a pure fullforward Tony Modra was. Also last of a dieing breed, not many super mark super kick players left these days .
I think maybe kicking is actually much worse acuracywise than it was ten years or so ago. But Modra was a champion no doubt.

Are you sure it was the Demons?

I had it in the back of my memory it was against Geelong at the Cattery?

Maybe you're thinking of Maxie Stevens shock announcement in the lead up to the Cats game.

That was the week that Maxie came out and said that if Mods doesn't get a three year deal from the AFC - who were only offering two - he would go in the draft. Mods kicked 6 goals at the Cattery that week.

However the AFC were furious with the public demands of Stevens and the unnecessary controversy - esp when they were gearing the team up for the finals.

I think the Stevens campaign + the Melbourne performance spelled the end for Mods.:(

Don't know if he's still doing it, but two years ago he was running Footy Tours as an ambassador for the Club. I think he was taking Captains Club members (or sponsors) to Interstate games... caught a cab with him and his group once in Sydney.

Oh and he may not have played in the 97 GF Marty, but he certainly was a very large reason for us being there! ;)

Not when he did his knee in the 1st quarter of the PF he isnt the reason why we got there.

What a ****ed up way of thinking. So let me guess his exceptional goal kicking during the year didn't have a saying whether or not we made it that far. A Coleman medallists performance had no impact on our fortunes for the year. I reckon you should get of the drugs dude. They have obviously ****ed you up.

Some of the crap you have been coming out with lately is unbelieveable

Remember any AFL season is a marathon not a sprint. That’s why any single player who has played in a game during the season has some level of importance to the success of that side.
