In order, and with 10% poetic license:
1. The "toe poke" by Scarlett to Ablett in the 2009 GF. For me, the greatest Cats moment. It was Scarlett at his offensive and daring best, and was capped off with Chappy's winning goal.
2. Ablett Snr with 8 goals & Stoneham in scintillating form lead Cats charge in the 1989 PF with a stunning 94 pt win, and 170 pt turnaround in 2 weeks against Essendon.
3. Jimmy Bartel kicks the best ever point to give Geelong a one point win in R 17, 2009 v Hawthorn. An unforgettable moment.
4. 1994 QF Cats v Bulldogs - a nailbiter all the way until Billy Brownless comes to the rescue to kick the winning goal after the siren, thereby ensuring the "monkey was off his back".
5. 2011 GF - Tom Hawkins etched his name into the history books a la Ted Hopkins and Darren Jarmin with one of the most dominant aerial displays. You just knew Cats wouldn't lose after seeing that.
6. The best three midfielders in Hocking, Counch & Bairstow are out, and yet, the Cats managed against all odds to steam roll Carlton by 33 points in the 1994 2nd semi.
7. 119 point record winning margin in the 2007 GF. For non Cats supporters it was a yawn, but for us it was the end of a 44 year drought.
8. 2007 PF - one of the worst imaginable nail biters I have ever sat through, but luckily, a win for the Cats by 5 points, thanks largely to Brad Ottens who more than repaid his debt to the Cats in this game.
9. 1989 GF - would be right up there if we'd won, but still a memorable match for Ablett's record 9 goals. Justifiably ranks as one of the greatset GF's.
10. 2012 GF - Cats come from 23 points behind in the final quarter to beat Hawthorn by 13 points. Mitch Brown's 4 goals in the final Q stamp him as the "next big thing".
