Not in any order..just off the top of my head

1. Love Actually
2. Apocalypse Now
3. The Schindler's List
4. Stand by Me
5. Cider House Rules
6. Gattaca
7. The Silence of the Lambs
8. Titanic
9. Das Boot
10. Bad santa (watched his more than any other movie)

Cheers.
I really love that film. I wish more people would talk about, one for it's general underrated Scorsese goodness, and two for De Niro's hugely underrated performance. For a guy who has gotten credit for bringing to life some of those memorable characters in cinema, it's a shame that people don't talk about one of his very best performances.

I just had a look at the trailer for that. Do you know if it was the inspiration for the classic Seinfeld scene where Kramer has the merve griffin set?

There's a different between best and favourite; there would plenty of films that I would acknowledge are better than my favourites, films that I thoroughly enjoyed. But ultimately, my favourites are the ones I can watch again and again. In no particular order (other than the first) are Star Wars (do I need to separate the three), Back to the Future, Ferris Bueller's Day Off, Memento, The Matrix, The Dark Knight, Pulp Fiction, Die Hard, Flying High.

1. Alien
2. Once Upon a Time in the West
3. Brief Encounter
4. The Godfather Part II
5. Apocalypse Now (theatrical cut)
6. Barry Lyndon
7. Andrei Rublev
8. Runaway Train
9. The Mirror
10. Blade runner (DC or Final cut)

Love 4, 6, 7, 9 and 10 especially.

1. LOTR trilogy. Two Towers is probably my favourite of the 3 but hard to split.
2. Braveheart. I know it’s historically awful but I love watching it.
3. Usual Suspects. No explanation necessary.
4. Lock, Stock and Two Smoking Barrels. Unmitigated hilarity.
5. Tombstone. Masculinity at its best.
6. Anchorman. Still hilarious.
7. Naked Gun 2.5. See anchorman.
8. The Great Escape. Masterfully made and acted.
9. Predator. More masculinity, massive dudes trying to smash a massive monster. It’s great.
10. Conan The Barbarian. Again, just massive c***s swinging massive swords at one another.

Honorable mentions: Pulp Fiction, Snatch, Django Unchained, A Time To Kill, Horrible Bosses, The Hangover, Semi Pro, Happy Gilmore

Arrival (2016)
Boyhood (2014)
The Departed (2006)
Inception (2010)
The Matrix (1999)
Memento (2001)
Pulp Fiction (1994)
To Kill a Mockingbird (1962)

These are the only movies I've seen I rate 10/10. Can't separate or order and couldn't include any 9/10 movies to make up a top 10 as they are a clear rung below (and way too many 9/10s to choose from).
