Making a change.

I've got a feeling...

Thought you meant the big guy. Just think we're going to get a slider/real value at our picks, and I'd be happy with Reece at 28, but not at 19 necessarily. Depends what Rogers wants - Reece won't be there at 28 imo.

What makes Reece different to Tom Hawkins as a 18 year old prospect?

Exactly the same queries over Tom at the time, and they were claiming that Tom would be number 1 with a bullet at the time in an open draft.

Can we really by pass a guy who could be our Tom Boyd for the next 10 years (without the multi-million dollar contract)?

Just can't see Weller getting past North or Bombers at this stage

Who knows but it could happen. IF it doesn't, just means someone else falls to us :)

Agree someone always usually does drop but just rate him ahead of guys like Ahern, Cookatoo, Langford & Garlett. I wouldn't mind if Langford drop but expect Suns to pounce on him from what I've been reading

I like your phantom draft except for Weller and no Marchbank, early prediction top10 to Cats

I like its ok. I think top 3 won't change with Petracca, Brayshaw and McCartin. Demons don't need Lever with Frost pickup so can draft McCartin and build a forward line around Hogan.

I just don't see this phantom draft happening just yet. But I do like it!

Im pretty happy with my phantom so far, but I was just wondering which two out of Lonie, Daniel, Boekhorst and Pittonet we would be most likely to draft, and who if any would be most likely gone by then.

11 days folks... just happens to coincide with getting my final year uni exam marks back. Dream scenario would be:
19: Lachie Weller (class)
28: Connor Menadue (speed)
61: Toby McLean (x-factor fwd)
65: Hammelmann (young tall)

Rookie Draft
Boekhorst (outside runner)
Baulderstone (23yr old ruck)
Best available

The difference being that Hawkins destroyed all of the best defenders his year had to offer. Eric Mackenzie would still be having nightmares from their matchup.:D

Reece hasn't got a hold of the better key position defenders of this year.

He needs a bit more refining than Tom did and will take a while.

Honestly trying to work out where to fit the top rated guys, where I could see them play and what's been said about types of players etc - I can't help but feel strongly that one of the highly rated guys (Duggan/Weller/Ahern/Ellis) will drop. In this scenario, its Weller.
