Dont worry about it, you've done a good job. Thrown a couple of interesting ones in there that I mightnt agree with but hey thats what its all about.

People on here dont realise that phantom drafts are just opinions. In footy, the great thing about it is that different people see different things and what one person likes another person doesnt. A bit of debate is good but constant "credibility questioning" from randoms on here gets annoying! Then again, the same randoms tend to criticise paid journalists, league footballers and coaches. A lot of armchair experts on Bigfooty.

At present, I have Melbourne taking Watts, Hill, Strauss, Roughead and Mitch Brown.

Although I am sure I will move players around and my final phantom will probably not include any more than 2 of these players going to Melbourne, one would think they'd be very happy with the above group. A potential star KPF, an electric hb/wingman, a classy on-baller, ruckman/forward and another forward in Brown.

I reckon the dees recruiting team would leave telstra dome with big ****-eating grins if the draft fell that way.

I just figured if you are going to do a mock draft, at least choose a player that a club actually needs rather than just sprout crap and make up reasons for a club to pick a player.

Yeah im certainly sprouting made up reasons aren't i... i mean, melbourne dont need a big key forward, so they wont take watts.. or essendon dont need to replace a full back position, so they wont take hurley..

or was it one of my decisions that makes you thinik im sprouting crap??

reckon thats an interesting look at it. I disagree with the need for the kangas to recruit another ruck. Cant see how McIntosh has failed considering he had a knee reco. Petrie had a great year and was a big reason they made finals, and Hale was a tough matchup for all defenders.

Think midfield is a huge concern for kangas and they will surely look to fill this area first.



Interesting selection for Collingwood. Everyone is saying midfielders, but Hine may well like Johnston's versatility. I think we have an oversupply of talls at the moment, but perhaps not one standout. That said, Reid and Brown and Dawes are high picks and Anthony has shone. Plus we get Rocca back next year
