I do wonder if United lost to PSG then would they be performing better in the league?

They've had all these games backing up they've just gotten through, but aren't in Europe anymore, but with just 3 games to go can they sneak in at ours or Chelseas expense? If they had 5-6 games to work with they'd be in a better position.

The gap has widened massively. All four of those teams continue to drop points everywhere whereas Liverpool and City just win game after game after game.

Liverpool have bridged a 25 point gap to City in 1 season. It mostly depends what happens in the transfer market

Still think Spurs will just get there, but it does leave open the slight possibility that the battle for 4th could mean nothing. If Spurs do miss out, but go through against Ajax, and then United sneak in ahead of Arsenal. Tottenham and Arsenal wouldn’t just be playing for European trophies, but a spot in the champions league. If both win, 4th misses out. Arsenal and Chelsea can swap places in this scenario yet.

It’s highly unlikely and a little crazy, but this entire race has been really.

With Chelsea’s probable transfer ban, Spurs and Arsenal question marks over funds and United with arguably another poor manager installed, there’s a genuine chance next season for the likes of Wolves, Everton, Leicester and maybe even West Ham to challenge for a top four position. Despite my allegiance I feel that would be good for the game. All four clubs need massive changes this summer

Im hoping by then we've got bigger fish to fry then worrying about 3rd or 4th and we can rest some players.

Its nice to have top 4 locked away and focus on finishing the season with a cup.
