On Troy Menzel, I'm pretty sure he's had a few concussion issues, but has looked solid in the SANFL when he's played. Even when fully fit and firing, who's he pushing out of that Adelaide forward line? A longer-term acquisition for the future I think, not just for 2016.

Replaces Richard Douglas next year i feel.

I can't believe people getting stuck into Carlisle and Bennell, that's being very short sighted in a 5 - 8 year plan. I would take Bennell in a heart beat for what Freo paid.
Would never take Carlise back though, I just don't like his attitude when losing.

I don't think Selwood belongs in the list really, at least not yet. Maybe if he comes in today and plays poorly for the rest of the season and Chris Scott keeps stubbornly picking him on reputation rather than performance while Menegola and Lang, who are playing well, are left out then it might become an issue.

Selwood was a free agent so didn't cost anything, he has obviously not had any issues off field, and Geelong as a club are challenging for top 4 so he hasn't had a negative effect on the Club at all. Maybe the one straw you could grasp at is that he was picked up as a like for like replacement for James Kelly. Kelly has been serviceable for Essendon in their position but I think would be unlikely to get a regular game in any top 4 side.

Yarran, cost a lot, hasn't played, Richmond going s**t.
Bennell, cost a bit, hasn't played, Freo going s**t, off field issues.
Carlisle, cost a lot, hasn't played, off field issues.
Redden, cost a bit, has played poorly, Eagles taken a step back from last year.
Jetta, cost a bit, has played poorly, Eagles taken a step back from last year.
Anderson, cost a bit, has played poorly, North taken a step back from last year.
Menzel, cost a bit, hasn't played due to form
Melksham, cost a bit, hasn't played due to asada
Freeman, cost a bit, hasn't played due to injury
Toumpas, cost a small amount, spud, Port going to miss finals again after topping up for a tilt at a flag the last two off seasons.

Selwood, free agent, hasn't played due to injury. I wouldn't have him in the top 10 most disappointing so far.

If a Geelong player wants back to Adelaide in future I say in negotiations Adelaide just need to pull out the paperwork for that deal and Geelong will be like ‘oh yeah’ and cough up a good deal.
