Wow. Some of those stats confuse me... I mean, i don't understand Russels efficiency, it may be broken =P. Nice to see so many of our backmen having good efficiency, that's what you need, can't kick goals if your Half backmen can't hit a target.

With the hitouts, is there any stat that can tell us how many hitouts they contested? so i can see who has won the highest percentage of hitouts.

That's quite ironic, although its no surprise. Waite uses it pretty well, but when he does a poor kick, it's TERRIBLE, often resulting in a goal to the opposition. Good to see Rusty there

I like a few of those stats for JR, tackles, efficiency and... behinds. If JR can figure out his shots on goal he will be a good player. And the goals would bring him more confidence to back himself and run with the ball, which he should do because his best attribute is speed. If only JR had Andrew Walker's confidence.

Two things.

There's at least a little bit of proof that JR is doing a job, and doing it reasonably well.

We would benefit enormously from setting up our forward-ball-movement strategy in a way that had Judd bringing it inside 50 more often - Murohy's ball use isn't as bad as oppo supporters but Juddy's one of the best in the comp at lacing out forwards. This would also be helped if we had someone else who could extract the pill from the centre bounces, so that Juddy could be on the end of the handball coming out of there instead of upside down on his head after getting the handball out himself.

Those stats really single out Murphy and Judd (and possiblty Waite as well) as standouts and front-runners for the John Nicholls medal for mine!

I think his efficiency is so high because he didnt even get to 100 stats

Yes Thy, reading back on that post made me realise what a pointless and obvious comment it was.

But all the same, some goalkickers around the 40 - 50 mark would be very nice. I think drafting/developing a medium forward should be a priority.
