The fact that the team average number of players is under 3. do you think a side not in the 8 deserves to have 6 definites?
 
Yeh, bit odd. Only the really great sides are going to have more than five at the moment. Tuck and foley and Griggs just aren't in it for mine.

I don't this Lewis Jetta should be too 50. Good year, and vastly improved, but still not imposing enough for me.

Don't think Zaharakis should be in either, fringe if so.

Hooker is the Essendon player to watch. Is our key defender and going great. (missed the second half of last year - when we had 50 points more scored against than the first half).

I don't think that's necessarily true, although it will be true in most cases.

If those 5 or 6 or whatever are playing consistently well in an average side then they should be in... what would tend to happen is that they'll either not be able to carry the side all year, or they'll set the platform for the team to improve to be something more than average.

(Neither of these would mean Tuck or Foley should be in the top 50! "Unlucky" IMHO.)

Yep agreed, whereas Collingwood would probably only have two (Pendles & Sidebottom) yet have won 3 more games.
 
Beams is ave 31 possessions a game in his last 6 since he has moved into the midfield.He missed round one and had 22 in both of his first two games of the year playing half forward. I think he should be in that is for sure.

AG was referring to the AA team & I agreed. Beams would be top 30 for sure, but not in AA contention yet.
