You had Rance at 16 after Round 4 and a belting of Hawkins. He now repeats his efforts and you demote him? Especially after many in the top 20 have disappointed this round. Quite absurd in my opinion.

Cotchin has been extremely consistent and off 2012 form alone, should be in the top 5 midfielders. I understand your cautiousness but he has been dominating every week. He really does deserve more recognition.

Demoting is an unfair way of putting it.
There are players who will jump him (Rockliff and Richards). Actually there are players that will drop below him (Judd, Stanton, Goddard, Ryder, Crameri) so it is likely he won't drop at all.
As to Cotchin, you'll see above, upon consideration I've put him 10th on the list. Hope that is enough recognition for you.

Pendles, Ablett, Kennedy, Stanton, Murphy, Selwood(s), Rockliff, Dal Santo, Ward and Mitchell all above Cotchin. The last two are just above Cotchin. Cotchin is around the 10-15 and Rance probably just below him.

Also you shouldn't mention Martin, played one good game and other then that he has done SFA.

Cotchin > Ward, Rockliff, NDS, Joel Selwood from 2012 alone. Cotchin hasn't had a bad game yet. Pure consistency. Cotchin's influence on Richmond games has been far superior to most of your list too.

Rockliff, J. Selwood and Stanton are just behind him.
Ward is around the 30 mark for mind.
Dal Santo is nowhere near the top 20, convince me otherwise.

Martin got mentioned by someone else. I said I'd consider for my unluckies, he's not in the 50.

Yeah, that's great mate. Love your work too.

30-35 is way too low for Deledio in my opinion. Was close to BOG today to go along with a fantastic first month. I would have him in the 10-15 category.

Not sure how you can have Sidebottom 10 spots above him.

lol at Rance smashing Kennedy. The bench spent more time on Kennedy than Rance did, normally he would have been subbed out.

Cotchin has been very impressive. I'd have him just behind Marc Murphy.

Point noted, Sidebottom is no longer 10 spots above him.
Although don't know how close he was to BOG yesterday. Cotchin, Naitanui, Kerr, Martin and Darling all have better claims than him with Gaff, Priddis and Foley playing equally impressive IMO.
Wouldn't be in my top 5 on the ground.
5. T. Cotchin
4. N. Naitanui
3. D. Kerr
2. D. Martin
1. J. Darling
Having said that, he will be promoted.

Bit off topic, but you should post the updated Top 50 (the picture) in the First Post. As I keep losing track of where the latest update is.

Hi guys,

Round 5 is up now:

Also, I know about the C. Ward and B. Whitecross but, as it is up and you know what I mean I'm not going to change it.

Great list only player i think that is rated to high is Franklin he has had one great game against Collingwood, one very Good game against Adelaide other than that he has done nothing. His two goals against Geelong came while Lonegan was on the bench and he was on Mackie. Against West Coast he was very bad and got smashed against Sydney. I think Lewis has had a much better year to date for Hawthorn and has only kicked one goal less than buddy

Hayes still four spots too low, but you're on the right track.

Pendlebury possibly a little high. At his best he's easily top 3 but there have been two or three quiet games from him already. Not enough consistency at this stage.

Goddard is a little bit too high. Definitely not having the howler that was his 2011 but not quite back to his best yet.

If by two or three you mean one (vs Carlton), then you'd be right. R1 33 touches, r2 29, r4 29, r5 35. He's been clearly our best player.

Hayes was quiet in round 1.

Hayes didn't get the stats but did a lot of good things in round one. For the rest he could be possibly polling 12/12 votes.
