Which Johnson? Regardless, no player with the surname Johnson is anywhere near the top 10 this season.
Possible Beams and Kennedy both gets 10's tonight they were both huge and a mile better than anyone else?
Beams absolutely ahead of Selwood on this year so far. Also ahead of Swan if that is in question. Will win the Copeland.
Tom Campbell first half, then Skinner when Campbell was subbed. He was then moved to Lake after he ravaged Post. Skinner got his goals on Post/Griffiths. Lake was poor when Rance moved onto him. From Rich v WB:
10 - Cotchin
8 - Deledio, Martin
7 - Boyd
6 - Lake
5 - Tuck, Maric
How did Rance play?
Saw he got Skinner, is that right?

I'd give him an 8-9.
He played a flawless defensive game, he destroyed his opponents when he played on them. Not only that, he provided great offence too. He had 20 possessions at 90% D/E and took 8 marks. Possibly an 8, 9 might be pushing it a little considering who he played on.8 or 9 turn it up, if he got an 8 or 9 for that game than Cotchin needs a 15, Deledio and Martin were clearly better and they got 8, 6 would be appropriate, 7 at best.
But that's how he's been doing it all season I think. If we're going by that logic, then he has to go back through all the games and scale the votes according to who they play. You can only play your opposition, ie. why should Cotchin drop just because he played a lesser team, he was still a clear BOG. Also it works both ways, all players get to play against strong and weak teams, Beams (and every other top player in fact) has probably scored a few 10s off lower ranked sides. You have to take the quality of opposition into account, pretty harsh on Beams to get the same score as Cotchin for the week when Beams did it against the #1 ranked side in the comp... as opposed to Cotchin running around with a first gamer Lin Jong in parts of the game. Rance definitely not a 8 or 9 from what I saw (watched about half of the game)
