Ordering probably not 100% accurate the further down the list I go. Done fairly quickly so no doubt I've missed some deserving players.

Jeremy Cameron at number one is a joke mate. So is Jordan Ridley and no Grimes or Vlaustin . No Daniel Rioli. And Bolton is easily top 6. Guthrie shouldn't be on the list either.

Great list. Can't really fault anything as its your list. I'd probably go McKay over Mcluggage personally. And I'd probably put true game winners like Charlie Cameron and Papley over a guy like Wines who I've never really seen as a match winner and he looked to struggle with his spread from the contest this season. I like the spots of Warner, May and Dunkley.

Nice list, only gripes are Greene and Warner. Greene just doesn't play enough and Warner has had one good season (half season at that). Mills easily higher than the Chad. Andy Brayshaw should be top 20 too.

Few really good lists, but few things standing out;

impact is over riding actual output. Guys like Jack McCrae, Mitch Duncan/Cam Gutherie, Sam Walsh, Zac Merrett, Jack Steele are being criminally under rated. Steele was one of the top rated players in the comp and should he play at a Collingwood or Carlton would be considered one of the best in the league.

Flashy defenders are another who are over rated imho. Siciliy, Stewart, Docherty, Ridley are as good, but not better (ok, maybe Stewart) than Adam Saad, Blake Hardwick.

The hybrid types seem to be getting mixed up between positions, ie Heeney the forward is as good as any sml/med fwd in the game but Heeney the fwd/mid is not that great (first 6 weeks was incredible, yes!). Unsure if anyone has heard of Dylan Moore but he along with Marcus Bontempelli was the only player to ave. 20 + 1 goal a game yet no mention of him in any of these lists.

Feel that a few guys are getting into the 2022/23 lists based on previous seasons, Jordan Ridley being one whose 2022 was no where near as good as his 2021 yet has made a number of these in recent pages. Imho not on his most previous seasons form.

All fair points. The Warner pick was partly weighted towards where I think he will be in the next year. But I honestly think he's that good.

The hybrid types do get rating points because of this… they have more value as they can be played in multiple positions.
Heeney is t as good as midfielder as liberatore but can you throw him forward to kick 5 as well? No.

Nah I agree with Warner being better than Mills. Warner wins games. Mills keeps you in games. I'll take the match winner that can break lines. Mills can't break the lines.

I don't think he is a top 10 forward or a top 20 midfielder though. Might be over rated by others but don't think he is as consistent as he needs to be to be considered a top 50 player in the comp.

Maybe... hardly the 5th best player in the league.
I think if you're the best defender in the league (probably Steven May) then I think you can lay claim to being a top 5 player? Midfielders grow on trees. if you're getting juicy minutes in the midfield you're basically going to get dropped if you don't get 25 touches a game.

I’ve picked it based on impact on the 2023 season.
I’m sure there’s a couple oversights and order discretions but tried to recognise impact in all parts of the field.
Looking at some lists surely the 22U22 captain BnF winning league MVP(youngest in 20 years)should be projecting as a top 20 player in 2023.

Honestly, I stopped reading after you had Brayshaw at number 1, and looked over and saw that you were a Freo fan.

Glad to know, I would be worried if I was on the same page as you.
You lost all credibility with your carry on over Luke Jackson.
I stand by everything. but back to the list, having Brayshaw as 1. How so? he's a 10-20 player. He works hard which I like but he doesn't have the power of some of the better mids in the comp.
