I know a million and one new threads will be made now, but this guy needs to have his own amonst them. Before this game, I thought Grigg had potential to be a depth player, but not enough to be our answer..I was wrong.

He could have easily stayed on the bench, but he knew it would have f^cked us over in the last quarter if he did. Not only did he come back on, but in general play, I thought he was brilliant today. Deserves a congratulations :thumbsu:

I love watching Grigg. You can see he is still learning, but goes in hard and does the team thing in every contest.
Good stuff Grigga!

Grigg is an absolute gun and I love him.

how bout that burst through the guts in the last 1/4? got the ball ran and delivered into the (1)50. gutsy seeing he had the jacket on at one stage and it seemed his day was over. great stuff.

I can't believe how well he has come on. He will become our speedy half backman that can burst through the lines

the improvement from 2007 to 2008 in this bloke has been MASSIVE!

many more years and much more improvement to come

Well done admitting you misjudged him. Before he is finished his left foot will be lethal and legendary. :thumbsu:

Grigg is promising and I'm having real trouble trying to compare his style of play to an existing AFL star because he is still developing.......Andrew Embley? With a couple of years in the gym he could be a top 50 AFL player, quick and has got a penetrating left foot; especially when he's hitting forwards with 50 meter passes or threading the needle in traffic.:thumbsu:

I didn't see the game. What did he do that was good gutsy ?

well according to Ch7 he had a couple of busted ribbs (though i highly doubt that now), and then they showed the picture of him sitting on the bench in a jacket and i expectd him not to come back on.

fast forward to the last quarter and we see grigg out of the jacket on the boundry line doing a ............ well a bump test i suppose you could call it with the physio, and bang he's back in the game.
