I'll get in before StevieDewar :D

The Cure:

1. Disintegration
2. Faith
3. Kiss Me, Kiss Me, Kiss Me
4. The Head on the Door
5. Pornography
Cant argue with much of that. I would have Head on the Door in the top 3, but very solid list there :thumbsu:

Most of the artists I listen to havent released 5 albums yet...

Tv on the Radio:

1. Dear Science
2. Nine Types of Light
3. Return to Cookie Mountain
4. Young Liars EP
5. Ok Calculator

They didn't make 5 official albums, so I'll just do the 3.

Nirvana

1. Bleach (10/10)
2. In Utero (9/10)
3. Nevermind (8.5/10)

Bruce Springsteen

1. Darkness on the Edge of Town
2. Born in the USA
3. Wrecking Ball
4. Magic
5. Born to Run

Bruce Springsteen

1. Darkness on the Edge of Town
2. Born to Run
3. Magic
4. Born in the USA
5. Tunnel of Love
It was all pretty close, but I love the rawness and screaming of Bleach and creepy grunge vibes from In Utero, and in the end preferred them over Nevermind. Nevermind was absolutely LEGENDARY, and a lot of my favourite songs are on there. It's just that the album was a bit overproduced, as the band members said themselves.

The Nevermind demos however? Nothing in music has EVER come close to them. Absolutely amazing.

Judas Priest (well one of my faves)

1 Killing Machine/Hell Bent for Leather
2 Stained Class
3 Pa.inkiller
4 Sad wings of Destiny
5 Nostradamus

One of my faves also.

However, I'd go

1. Screaming for vengeance
2. British Steel
3. Unleashed in the East
4. Painkiller
5. Nostradamus

Sad wings and Defenders of the faith were next cabs off the rank.

Killer!!! I love that you also found Nostradamus worthy of a spot in there. I think it divided a few, but it needs a good listening to before you can really judge. I didn't rate the 80's stuff as much, and therefore, have not listened to it nearly as much as the stuff listed.

Agree unreservedly. By far their strongest 5.

The first 3 have influenced my musical tastes enormously.

1. Physical Graffiti
2. Houses of the Holy
3. Led Zep 4
4. Led Zep
5. Presence

Agree with the first 3.

Then Led Zep 2.
Then Presence.

Actually, I'm really stuggling to narrow things down to my 5 favourite artists. Contenders ...

Metallica, Midnight Oil, Anthrax, the Priest, Kings X, Tears for Fears, The Wildhearts and U2.

Can't decide, so I might have a crack at all of em. Gonna loosen up with some Chrissy cinnamon schnapps and see if I can't get in the zone.
