Yes! Plateaux Of Mirror has been a go-to of mine for years.Yes I have. Wonderful music. As far as collaborations go, Eno's albums with Harold Budd
are two of the best albums I've ever heard.

yeah SFY would have been next cab off the rank. I love This Is Your Land. I remember seeing Lou Reed join the Minds on stage for that song in ‘89 in Barcelona.Surprised Street Fighting Years isn't there, but I may be biased.
This Is Your Land still has that visceral impact on me after all these years.
That first Dire Straits album is one of those seminal late 70s, late night albums. Great memories listening to that with people who were way older than me doing stuff that way older people did.Dire Straits:

Springsteen:

Document was very close, it's like the turning point between early REM, which I quite like, and mid-period REM, which I love.Wow, no love for Document...
For me it's their "peak". Feels like they got it right between the grindy early stuff and the almost poppy later. I very much enjoy the mid-period stuff, but really like the energy from Document. Full disclosure, it's also the first tour I saw them live and it stuck. By far their best of some very good (and one really poor) performances I later saw in the 90s.Document was very close, it's like the turning point between early REM, which I quite like, and mid-period REM, which I love.
Early to mid, to me at least, means less jingle-jangle arpeggios on guitar, and vocals that are clear and upfront in the mix.

Was played to death at my place. The offspring put it on at Christmas now just to see me getting triggered.Anyone who doesn't have WIGGLY, WIGGLY CHRISTMAS (1996) in their top 5 cannot be considered a true fan.
That’s true, was very bored cooking spaghetti boll last night, googled the wiggles and couldn’t believe how many albums they have realised, just made up a list. They sure are a money spinner.Anyone who doesn't have WIGGLY, WIGGLY CHRISTMAS (1996) in their top 5 cannot be considered a true fan.
