FTA-TV Top Gear UK Series

It's the engine room of the series that ran from 2002-2015. There is no guarantee that they will keep the same format.

If it stops being an entertainment program with cars then it dies. Simple as that. It can't just be a car review show.

The show was dead the moment they overpaid for Evans.

They needed to give unknown motoring boffins the nod. That's what Top Gear has always been about. Turning the average British yob into a tv presenter.

the amazon prime for 79 pounds seems to show that it will only be televised in the UK.

So beside torrents how would everyone else have access to it. Especially the fact that there isnt any amazon prime here

Chris Harris, Sabine Schmitz and David Coulthard apparently confirmed as hosts alongside Chris Evans. Whether DC will jump ship to Channel 4 to continue covering F1 could throw a spanner in the works though. Also sounds like Chris Evans is a real pleasure to work with.

After a very difficult gestation period it appears that the new version of Top Gear might not be as bad as many critics have made out. The Sun has reported that after much deliberation, Chris Evans has picked Chris Harris, David Coulthard and German racing driver Sabine Schmitz to join him as the show’s new hosts.

This decision hasn’t come easy, with The Sun reporting that this choice led to executive producer Lisa Clark (the replacement for Andy Wilman) and script editor Tom Ford leaving the show. A source for The Sun said that Lisa’s departure had “been a real shock” and caused “a lot of upheaval” within the production team.

Matt LeBlanc confirmed as a co-presenter. While I think he'd actually be great, it just seems this show is a mess already.

Read this morning he'd be hosting, checked the calendar just to make sure it wasn't April 1st.

Appointing somebody that can drive is a good move.

Evans was the bad choice and always will be. He'll probably be the one that gets moved on if Top Gear survives this season.

Been watching old Top Gear as you do when you have the BBC James May/ Top Gear channel on Fetch (AKA BBC Knowledge) and the presenters do a lot of real driving.
