yeah just looks an international, multi currency all-in pool with everything from sports lines to horse races at 110% markets. which is around about best tote. (not sure takeout for sports)

I hope it works as competition for the TAB parimutuel but I can't see the pools getting too big initially. 10% take out on exotics would be huge

it varies but i think 20% for quads quinellas tris etc on the TAB

Something TopBetta are trying to build. Fielding on all racing globally. They want the bookies to get on board - globally - because they'll bring the volume. It's ultimately be a clearing house for all bookies on all racing.

It has some merit but not sure TB are capable of building and managing it in a corporate sense. It's a huge undertaking ultimately.

Aussie bookies would be keen on it because they get slaughtered on Best Tote where their margin is next to nothing.

There's not a bookie in town who doesnt want to ditch Best Tote. It's a prick of a product for them and even if managed best will only deliver a couple of % margin.

They only have it because they can't be first to switch it off. Looks like Ladbrokes want to be the first of the majors to do so. We'll see.

108-112 for top tote (flat). think they work on 109%. best SP across major corporates for midweek is similar.

They have a sliding scale take. Essentially a rebate on final take. The earlier you bet the more your rebate.

Nobody forced them to have the product in the first place. They tried to be too smart and have now been caught out by the customer

Topbetta. I haven't heard of any corporates offering rebates on anything tote based
