Geez that was hard work, I have been trying to join up since 11.00 am this morning, but nothing was happening, so I changed my name from 1954 to persona non grata .and hey presto it worked. lol

I need some love guys ( in the nicest possible way of course ) the main squeeze has gone home to her mum complaining I was spending too much time on the computer, but worse still she has taken my bottle of 18 yo Chivas Regal with her. waaaaaaaaaaaaah

ATM I am so thirsty I would drink a can of the schnitzel's ( Wilbur 15 ) squaws water ( I think it is called VB ).

Anyway back to reality, many thanks to groshy and Macca for their ` technical ' advice.

Much sadness re the demise of TPFP, and I wish Daryl and Vi all the best.

Like Seanybruz (hi) one of the things I'll miss most about TPFP is it was somewhere you could say what you liked about other clubs without ramifications.

Once you get used to the discussion on the Port board I'm sure you'll see that there's plenty of freedom to say what you like about other clubs.

One thing I'm already liking about the BigFooty interface is how phone friendly it is. Convenient but possibly dangerous.

Nah considering I was only there since 09 & started slow I was happy with my input into the site without feeling like I was going overboard.

Quality > quantity my man, though you'd probably still have me covered in that department with those fantastic reviews that I enjoy reading Look forward to seeing them with Maccas.

I thought it was more relevant given TPFP is actually closed and many people have begun migrating.

Thread titles will change from time to time to improve clarity and better describe their content.

Feels like the house has burnt down. Can always find another place to live but lost all the valuables. Just gutted.

To Vi and Darryl, I wish you all the best. You gave me a reason to own a computer, but more importantly you gave me an opportunity to make a big network of friends to come and visit and watch footy with, on my trips back home. TPFP was always the first port of call when I pressed the 'on' button, not sure how long until it really sinks in. Get well soon Vi, no doubt we will catch up at AAMI ... oops ...... AO some time in the future. Thank you for everything.

Oh well, here we go trying to re-establish I guess? Feels great to see many familiar names, eases the pain a bit.

Yep, started this thread, however wilbur 15 is my brother-in-law's account that we sort of shared over the last couple of years, whenever we felt the need to come and have a look here, on the odd occasion. He will continue to use that account, started my own as it seems we might be here for some time ...

Yep. The people in the blue tracksuits - user names in dark blue, usually with the word 'moderator' underneath, are able to edit/delete threads and posts. We also take suggestions and feedback.

It would be a strange thread for the Port board but it would most likely get merged with the locked 'crow chat' thread which is where all unnecessary crow talk goes to die.
