Yep b0ydy's around the place and has even met a few posters from here. He had a rocky start, was super-negative when he landed here but things were terrible all-round. He seems much more content with Kenny at the helm.

b0yd is actually a great bloke in real life and very rational. I spent time with him at the 2 finals this year. But yeah he doesn't mind teeing off when he sees stuff he doesn't like. But he can praise when its due. I think 2011 and 2012 tested all our patience. Just b0ydy went a bit harder than the rest of us.

The giraffe liked arguing for arguing sake. I took him way off on a tangent once, just for the hell of it to see how how far he would go. In the end I just got sick of it and stopped that argument and ignored most of his posts.

If I remember correctly it was during a heated discussion of the value of a younger Boak, that Boydman disappeared from TPFP in a puff of smoke
 
A bit of advice as well. Knowing that TPFP was a total Port Adelaide site...with only the odd troll, if you wander over to the crows board and lurk through their threads, you are going to read stuff that is going to infuriate, and make you think of retaliating. DO NOT POST THERE. They may be crows but their mods do not like Port supporters and will ban you for posts that seem reasonable to us

Is that advice from personal experience Grosh? if so what did you say lol.

Being a long time lurker here i've known that for a while after seeing both sides attack eachother at times, not sure if twist of lemon is a legit Crow supporter but I wish there more respectable posters like him on their board.

No, Seany I have never posted on another teams board, only the main board. But I know that coming from an environment like TPFP and then viewing the crow or another board for the first few times and seeing derogatory comments aimed at 'porpowah' the temptation to challenge is high, as I feel when lurk. But I remind myself that their is their sanctuary, like ours is to us

Thanks for the advice. It is bad enough when it comes up on my news feed on Facebook courtesy of friends &inlaws. I have a friend who supports Port but likes to argue back when she sees those posts & it comes up on my news feed. I think I will stick to our board on Big Footy as I wouldn't have the time to go on any others plus the tingles board sounds infuriating.
 
For those TPFP posters who have joined us, I thought I would give the Alberton Swamprats a quick plug.

Basically, there is a code based footy league that operates on BigFooty. A simmer inputs a team of 20, and the computer program spits out a game of footy in text form. Games are played every Sunday, and in the week prior the two competing sides (the league currently has 10 sides) banter with each other. It's good fun and is a great way to pretend that you're a quality footy player, or to relive past glory.

I was on tpfp for 10 odd years, but tapatalk made me make the switch here.

I started off as brizzypower moved to Melbourne and became smelly_melly then moved to Russia and become moscow mark....but when I moved to London I was sick of changing names so I became Wally (as in 'Where's Wally').

Stupidly I chose this username while I was excited about the one club rally, and now stuck with it. I wanna be Wally again :(

I noticed your posts became fewer and fewer, and I actually remember you with some banter about smartphones...wheres your avatar of your daughter? As for the TPFP site, I don't think some people were happy about that upgrade...it still seemed to feel like it was from the dial-up era, and I gave up trying to post an image, plus I kept forgetting how to embed a youtube video..the last 9 digits or something, pasting text became a nightmare as well. But, it was home to a lot of us. You yourself Wally, 12000 or so posts, wasn't it?
 
Hopefully Matrix, Phil Reich & Ozph1870 sign up on here. I don't think that T will come back on here, I wonder if ttport or powerup will join.

Creighton said he'll talk to Phil, pretty sure it's only a matter of time before Matrix bobs up & not sure about OZPH hopefully someone knows him at the footy & can let him know most of the TPFP regulars are here.

Welcome Wheatloaf good to see you. Don't worry about the rival boards posters most are alright except for those that come from the swamp, some seem to have a chip on their shoulder lurking/trolling through our threads for anyone posting about their precious club.
