Right. I don't remember why I chose that username but Hammer has always been one of my favourites and I try not to criticize anyone from our club or community who isn't called Lonie.

Lmao. It is funny being compared to the Russians though when a large contingent of posters here were TPFP migrants/refugees.

I hate the us & them bullshit we're all Port supporters, I felt that way at TPFP too. It's not like we're ***** coming over from the Camry board.

My TPFP user name was Samantha Stevens, my mum is an avid fan of the show Bewitched & she named me after a character on the show, not Samantha. I signed up during dark days in our club's history when I was watching an episode of Bewitched on GO. I did joke during those dark days that a twitch of the nose could have reversed the 2007 Grand Final or that loss against Gold Coast.

Harro was a soft teddy bear compared to Boydy during the dark 09-12 era.

Surprised he got banned at TPFP for getting into arguments with Troy when he'd egg him on just as hard, many laughs were had at those two going at it for the smallest things like NBA etc.

Its disappointing that there was a distinct civil war feel between basically the two main (or only) group of supporters on the internet. I know as mods we are looking forward to the influx of people coming here to give their opinion on our great club.

I remember you asking me a few tips on fantasy footy, if you still need any help with stuff like that just tag my name in one of the threads here. I'm looking forward to the comps this year.

That's great to know Macca, not sure if you saw my posts in the social thread on why it took me so long to break the post drought here but I was a little hesitant at the thought of being looked at as an outsider/TPFP'er.

I just want a place where I can speak my mind about footy mainly but cricket, soccer & just general banter without being hassled for being different, I can learn to deal with rival posters but nothing sucks more than being segregated by your own.

AFAIC we're all Port Adelaide & have black, white & teal blood running through us.

Even I got rather heated & stuck into him about that. I'm pretty patriotic though I'd never barrack for a rival country against our own that's as bloody un-Australian as it gets.

He didn't make any friends with those opinions, it's not very often where Harro was backing the majority opinion in those debates but he was then. I didn't mind Harro tbh.

One thing I thought was odd about tpfp was that you weren't allowed to mention big footy there. Plus I like the 'like' function here. It's more personal as you know if anyone agrees or if ya just talkin shite. On tpfp it relied on people responding which was mostly when people opposed.

But that said, tpfp was great in its day and I'm extremely grateful for all vi and mark did
