Agreed 54, no excuse for threatening, especially when people are volunteering so much time for the enjoyment of others. Possibly could have been the reason as you mentioned, if that is the case it is a very sad day. Was just my opinion on how it was done.

As Vi said in her message, the decision to close the site was NOT taken lightly, and in actual fact caused her a lot of heartache. I was as shocked as anybody when I found out about the closure, and perhaps a bit of warning to soften the blow may have been in order. But after she put so much time and effort into maintaining the site over so many years, I see no justification whatsoever for threats/abuse!!!
Does anybody still check the site everyday?
I try to login at least twice a day still, hoping that maybe miraculously it will be back. Oh well, I guess BF will have to put up with all my shit now.

Lol i do enter the link daily, more out of habit than anything. Starting to get used to it over here, it was nice to have a game to talk about on satdy to help me get into some threads, but i think itll take some time to really adapt to this site. Its structure is just so different.
For those that are regulars here is there any "newest posts" list that shows all the threads across all the forums (in the port area) with the latest posts? Maybe i cam just set up a custom search or something.
Loved the TPFP and hold no animosity towards Vi, Mark and Co - they did a great job.
Hopefully BigFooty PAFC will be half as good.

Going to be a bit different posting about some things. For instance, on TPFP if you did a soccer post and poked a bit of fun at the Melbourne Victory it was OK because most were Adelaide posters. Here, that could get you an infraction.
