Haha last night I was thinking of your all Magpies ever drafted thread. This great site I found recently has some errors. I have found the odd one here and there, but last night when I looked up players drafted from the Magpies it only had 48 and I remember either you started with 72 or at some stage we got to 72 in the thread. I thought now have I copied werner's info either into a thread here or saved it somewhere, and I did a quick look and found nothing. Yes lack of access bugs me.

Perfect example of a thread that didn't spring to mind first up. Yeah that took me many beer affected hours to put together, armed with a barrel load of books. But for me, the best part was the banter, connection, discussion and subsequent research, when a name seemed missing, or circumstances were queried ... between us all, over time, I reckon we were all pretty happy with end result? 72 rings a bell!

Yep, irks me big time that access is denied, and it has in fact pretty much killed my enthusiasm for it all now. Hopefully that may return, but generally everything I put my mind to, runs of feedback and interest with my fellow punters.

Has anyone tried to contact the old owners and see if they can get access? I can imagine access won't be given as I remember they were on a rampage about people sharing articles etc from tpfp on other sites and then banning them

A small win werner. Not the info from TPFP but Matt Agius has been putting together a lot of stuff on the club's website about our history. Under the Club dropbox, then click on History and you get to a page with 20 different boxes/links to different parts of our history and the one below has names of ever player drafted from the SANFL arm of the club since 1986 and every player drafted by the AFL arm of the club. The 2015 draft/trade info hasnt been inputted yet. I count 100 names on that list
