Only reason I see us doing so is attitude issues/wants to stay in SA.
Yeah and the last thing we need is another South Australian with attitude issues.

Maybe he'll be a pig shooter, maybe a perpetually injured bogan who cracks it post-career because his former club couldn't carry him any longer.

Maybe he'll throw the toys out of the cot and play dead before demanding a trade, then miraculously spring back to life at his new club. He might then go on to a role as a village idiot on Fox Footy.

Or if a King is at our pick and we consider ourselves too tall. Another team may see Max especially as their tall forward hope and trade big with us to get him.

I really hope they introduce live trading, it'll be exciting as hell.
Yeah, that’s true. Just think it’s more chance with adelaide given they have two first rounders. Either way there’s a lot of water to go under the bridge, I just really want to load up this year.

Not worried about attitude. Hes a kid, 90% chance any attitude problems someone has at that age are grown out of. No one wants to stay in SA. Just my take, dunno if our draft team feel the same way.
I'd be a million percent excited if we drafted him. Would love to see him to what he does in our colours.

Maybe he'll learn how to speak multiple languages and play the saxophone?

Rankine has enough attitude problems that he couldn't find an agent. You know how rare it is to find a top prospect in any sport that someone doesn't want to represent?

Am I the only one who thinks Wallis might be a decent high production hff if trained there. Brings the pressure, great footy brain, good overhead and excellent kick for goal. Better option than Wood in any case.
+ huge tank. Won our time trial before Hunter really kicked into gear during the latter stages of the pre-season.

See him as a bit of a harder but less classy Gia. Neither were super quick but both know how to use their body, smart leading patterns and could run all day. Might be his spot when Libba comes back.

Yeah okay, do he does have representation but the rumour is that a couple of agents turned him down. Thanks for the source, I appreciate it. Thought it was pretty unlikely that no one was willing to represent him.
Does seems strange that any agent would turn down a probably top 5 draft pick though. How bad does someone's attitude have to be for an agent to pass up money like that?

He's played there before - we do tend to play a midfielder in the forwardline (Smith, Dunkley) and I'm sure I've seen him resting there anyway.

With a momentum killer and a soft turnover 'super'kick, we aren't winning too many games. Looking forward to a team when these two are no longer in the lineup.

Well, there are a few who could match the first description, but only Matty S matches the second. NFL can’t come soon enough imo.

As ever, we need good kicks and goal converters. We’ll be saying that next year, the year after and however long after that.

I think Suckling's head is already in the land of hot dogs.

Anyone watch the NFL draft? Live trading of picks really allows for some flexibility and I’m all for it.

If a player is still on the board and a team is desperate to get him, they come knocking and pay overs.

Hope they bring it in for this year

Imagine having Carlton’s list. Outside of Simpson, Docherty, Kreuzer, Cripps, Murphy, Curnow they’re either recycled hacks from other clubs or young kids.

Has to be one of the worst lists I’ve seen. Ever. Sos has sold them up the river getting most of them Gws rejects in. For every Marchbank there’s two Plowman and Phillips.

What would people be happy to pay Adelaide’s Tom Lynch? 550k?

Lynch - Schache - Dale
Lipinski - Boyd - Resting mid

He makes that structure look a hell of a lot better. Hope we can have a real crack at him, or draft a small pressure forward.

I mean he's great between the arcs and is a running machine but I'm not sure he's what we need as a forward.
