McLean has absolutely no reason to leave. Would be on great money and is a Melbourne boy. We've got a keeper.

Time to seal up Wallis and Dahl. Required players.

So with Dahlhaus and Wallis looking more frisky lately, is the consensus now to do what it takes to keep both??

Still a No from me on Dahlhaus, unless he stays on the cheap (which of course he won’t).

Still happy to keep Wallis on a moderate deal. But if there’s big cash for him elsewhere, I’m comfy seeing him walk as well.

I don't think anyone is advocating overpaying either of them, although obviously some value them higher than others. I suspect most people would be happy for the club to offer what they believe the two are worth.

If they take those offers, then great. If not, then that's up to them, but it'd be a fair backflip on public comments from both players.

Have been thinking it would be a mistake to get rid of Collins especially since it is looking increasingly likely starting positions or zones will come in at some point in the near future. Aside from Trengove we have no one to play on the big gorilla forwards who may also become much more prominent with the new rules.

Having seen him in the VFL, I'd trade him in a heartbeat. What have you seen that you liked?

Honestly, I'd keep Roberts over Collins even if Roberts wasn't contracted.

I have seen enough of him live an on tv over the last 2 years to show that there is enough to work with. Also think the questions about his pace are a little exaggerated to be honest. Yes he is slow but he is no worse than quite a few others in the afl who have carved out a career.
I want to see what he can do with a bit of continuity.

From what I've seen he is well behind both Roberts and Young on performance in the VFL, his body shape looks strange for a footballer and Roberts (who has similar pace issues) seemed to get a lot more of it and use it better.

That's before you consider we're playing Trengove, Cordy, Naughton etc in the seniors who have all shown a lot more too.

Dom Sheed is on the extended bench for this weekends game but he has been out of favour this season, is he worth a look? I know there was talk on here last year.
