It's the Saints and they're desperate, so let's trade. We might get a first round pick. Might get two first rounders.
I think the Saints overpay and get Lycett, they've got the cap space and West Coast won't match as after 2019 Lycett goes back to second banana and only the Bulldogs would pay a ruckman huge coin to be a second ruck.

I think west Coast lose Lycett then either sign Roughy for nothing or offer a 3rd rounder to preserve their FA picks from Gaff/Lycett:

West Coast are eyeing Western Bulldogs premiership tall Jordan Roughead to bolster their ruck stocks for next season.

Channel Seven’s chief AFL reporter Mark Stevens is reporting the Eagles are preparing for the potential loss of Scott Lycett, who is yet to commit beyond this year and attracting interest from interstate rivals.

If Lycett moves on, it leaves a massive hole in the club’s ruck department with superstar big man Nic Naitanui set to be sidelined for the majority of 2019 with a serious knee.

In what world do Saints deserve a priority pick? There would be outrage if that happens and rightly so.
Apparently the media are on board with it. I don’t get it either. They finished 11th last year (vs us 10th on%) and 9th on % the year before. I’ve said it before but that is not deserving of a priority pick and no club should be given a priority pick. These 3 clubs have all had an abundance of high draft picks and stuffed up their list management through their own undoing. So what is the AFLs solution? Give them more draft picks! The AFL has to stop compromising the draft! Seriously with 3 priority picks, plus free agency compo, it could screw us in terms of draft points needed for father sons/academy this year. So not only do these free hand outs reward pathetic management of clubs, it also punishes those clubs doing the right thing. There are some serious inept individuals running this league. They’re so lucky there is no serious competition or the sport would be dead in the water

I'm pretty sure we got Roughy with the draft pick we got from the Saints for Farren Ray. The footy circle of life.
It’s great isn’t it? We get the quality, get the rewards, then spit out the remains to the bottom feeding saints

Crikey, a second round compo for Roughead and end of first for Wallis or dal would change our trade period dramatically.

Get it done Sammy power.
End of first would end up in the early to mid 20s after lynch compo, Carlton and GC priority picks and academy bids. It probably just gets spent on a West bid.

I’d rather get gonorrhoea of the eyes and herpes of the tongue than see that orange plastic sh!t win anything.

Couldn’t care if them winning meant us getting Shiel and Kelly the whole lot of them can GAGF.
I would rather be buried alive with a slab of Spotless stadium cider and the collected works of that idiot plastic poster who changes his name all the time!
