Dixon and Schade for Minson and our first?
NO to Schade. Dixon is too often injured and whilst is more mobile than Boyd, I still think the two of them in the F50 with Crameri, Stringer ... could make us too top heavy. I'd prefer a more mobile, hard running Nick Reiwoldt, Pavlich type to complement Boyd.

Forgive me for trying to think outside the box a little here, but are there any KPDs from opposition clubs that we could use as a forward?

It definitely carries risk but it could be less expensive if we did it that way
Possibly someone that played forward as a junior?

My take from the article

"we just want to wait for obviously the WADA stuff to finish" (Is reportedly going to finish in October or even November so Essendon are going to be waiting a while)

I want to play consistent footy (which I'm not currently doing nor have I ever done since I was moved out of my favoured position)

I want to play finals (really is touch and go whether they play finals - next 2 weeks could put them 4 and 7 particularly when we Essendon have a half baked forward line)

Its not about money (Bulldogs shouldn't have to break the bank to get me)

At the end of my career it might be that I was a better backman (just ****ing stick me in the back line).

He is 99.99% packing his bags!!!

Ive got no issue with the Dons giving him more practice in the forward line. We may have to swing him forward at times during when he comes here ;-)

Yep, like for the first 10 minutes of the 2017 gf to throw a spanner in the works and get us off to a 7 goal to nil start against GWS

What sort of player is he?
Draft profile from last year

AFL biography: Tall forward with good athletic ability and strong overhead. Agile and presents well on the lead. A reliable set shot for goal as well as an excellent field kick on his preferred right foot. Averaged 10 disposals (four contested possessions) and a goal in three matches during the NAB AFL Under-18 Championships.

Lee Fraser, Murray Bushrangers: "Nick struggled with injury in 2013 and early this year but he came back and played some really good footy as a deep forward. He's a smart player and had a hand in about 4-5 wins for us just by doing the right things at the right times. He's a good size and a ripper kid, a natural leader."

Cheers for that. Well that description has nailed the type of player I want absolutely to a tee :p Will watch him with interest. I'm guessing we choose the 23rd man that we want so we'd have even a slight interest in him you'd think. Hopefully this is the TV game, you'd think it would be.
