surely with the amount of young stars on the list and the buzz generated with playing finals footy some big name companies would be sitting up and taking notice. Maybe nike have ditched the sinking ship that is carlton? lol

Signing Adcock as depth would be decent. He played the majority of the season up forward this year but we've badly needed experienced depth in defense whenever any two of Murphy, Boyd & Morris have missed a game.
Is he a Delisted Free Agent, or are Brisbane looking to trade him ?

Secondly, would he count as one of our three list changes, or would we need to make an additional spot available to take three picks into the draft... ?

Adcock is a free agent anyways and is free to go where he wants.

We need to have three open spots going into the draft. So if we picked up Adcock then we'd need to cut four players.

Some rumours around on Twitter that Port could look to trade Hartlett in order to fit Dixon in their cap. No idea if it's true or not but Hartlett is a very interesting potential trade target. Had a down year, but a very skillful/silky talent who could help straight away

They'd never part with him surely.

What's the going rate for Hartlett from a cash and trade perspective??

Makes it harder (from our novice BF perspective to cut 4 - although I think we'll have a better idea after tomorrows announcements) if we need to lose an extra player - but I do tend to agree. Versatile, experienced and has leadership.

I agree, Yes to adcock. Can play a couple of roles and has leadership and is a good user. Nice 2 - 3 season player we could get.

Still need to balance our list more. He's a cheap option to consider.

Certainly worth having a discussion with him....

Our first 12 - 16. Don't reckon a club would splash out at least 500k on him?? He's better than the average footballer. I'd say to get him a club might have to spend that much, to pry him out.
Hard to know what you'll get for $500k under a new cba with increased cap. Could be a reasonable deal for him I guess.!

on a side note adcock was mates with stringer growing up, used to play backyard cricket etc according to jake on gameday... he said he had a good chat with jed after the game on sat. I wonder if it was about the dogs throwing him a lifeline?

If he's available you give up a 1st without hesitation, I'd even throw a Hrovat or Darley in as well if that's the sort or thing Hinkley's into.

As it is he's a B-Grade midfielder with the potential for a whole lot more in my mind.

Anderson surely in the 20-25 bracket? Wasn't that where he went originally? Only improved for mine and already a B grade talent.
If he was a proven B Grade talent, he'd be in front of Hartung. He's not proven, there's a bit of vanilla about his game, but he covers the ground well. I like him and I'd like to have him, but he's not a huge upgrade on some of the talent we already have.

I'm a lot more buoyant about our list than I was earlier in the season. There's enough diversity to cover most problems but a strong KD is important.
